The End of The Election and The Dawning of A New Age

The end of the election season has come. Thank God Almighty. I was beginning to get really sick of the whole process. I am glad to say that my candidate won the election. Now, I can have a conversation with someone and not feel pressured to talk about politics. I am free from having to explain my position to everyone single person in Hopkins County. I feel isolated here when comes to my orientation on the political spectrum. It's like another Red Scare here.

Besides that, it is now officially the time of the year I like to call No-Time-November. It is the end of the semester for college students and therefore everything is due in November. It really isn't much of big deal if you started on some the assignments back when they were assigned rather than waiting until a month until they are due to work on them. So I am pressed to get a lot of my assignments finished because I am the classic definition of a procrastinator. I love the pressured feeling of rushing to get an assignment done. The impending doom associated with failing to get done motivates me to get the assignment done. I should change my habits, but I really must be a glutton for punishment. I thrive under pressure while hating it at the same time.

    I am a peculiar individual.

In other news, I am going to start my own internet radio show. Yeah, exciting stuff. I feel the need to speak my mind on a different medium. I want to be able to talk about current events, a little politics, historical events, art news and book recommendations and reviews. My radio station on the internet is here: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/Mark-Anderson . I hope to broadcasting soon, but I need to figure out how to get my soundcard's mic jack working. So stay tuned, Newman's hitting the internet stage.
